Liuzhou forest city concept project in China was designed by Italian designer Stefano Boeri.
About 30 thousand people can live in the forest city of Liuzhou. There are about one million plants of 100 different plant species and 40 thousand trees in this project. In this forest city, about 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide and 57 tons of pollutants are absorbed and 900 tons of oxygen are produced by using trees and different plant species. This forest city was founded using renewable resources. In this city, the complete facilities of a modern city have been designed, including commercial spaces, entertainment, hospitals, etc.
